Zepp Golf App Reviews

App will not open past transfer offline data. Was great, now unusable until corrected. I see by other reviews, its not just me or my phones issue. Please fix. I have a useless sensor at this point that I paid for.

This is the greatest training tool Ive ever used. Ive just updated it today and everything works fine. I had the ZEPP for the last 3 months and it has been absolutely phenomenal, even with the new update. Great tool!

Was a good product until the update. Now its useless. When you open the app it says "transfer offline data" then closes. I guess its a trick to force you to buy new hardware. Goodbye Zepp. Dont buy this product.

App asked me to update firmware for zepp 1 and now doesnt record any of my swings! The original app worked perfectly! Why fix something that is not broken?!?

Old version was awesome but new update crashes during offline data transfer. Very frustrating to not be able to use the $150 I spent on the sensor. Please fix!

Swing plane and speed charts from older data are not viewable. Not sure what this update was for. The data points are still the same.

Update to previous review... Had to uninstall and reinstall app in order to get past "transfer offline data" issue. Most data saved, however, Ive noticed some data corruption and my custom club settings were not totally saved. Also, when I try to set them back up it wont save my changes. So there are certainly some bugs in the new update that need to be fixed ASAP for usability. Havent tried the new version at the range yet but excited about the new analyze swing feature. ------------ Updated my app to the latest version. It gets stuck at "Transfer Offline Data" and then crashes and throws an error. Love the tech and previous app version. Please fix ASAP. Thanks!

The sensor has improved my swing plane more over one session than a trainer has in multiple weeks!

Best training aid Ive used yet. Love it. Still think they are trying to find the best UI but it works. The core bits work very well.

When I bought this it worked perfect out of the box. The older app was easy to work with. I went out to the range yesterday and it require a firmware update which kept failing. After the sixth time of retrying and re-syncing, it finally updated successfully. Now there new app is confusing and jumbled. It is such a pain to get to my history. If it didnt work out of the box I wouldve given a one or zero star. Time for your software division to reorganize and make this app more easy to work with.

The upgrade discarded all my custom clubs and incorrectly assigned existing swing to the wrong club. The new UI organization is definitely a step backward. As a software engineer I expect better than this.

The current version released in early April 2016 is horrible. All the basic functions are now buried and this version has major problems which didnt exist before - for example, there is no way to "play" recorded 3D swings - there is no play button - cant even slide the button. Zepp needs to get its act together and either fix this broken version now or revert to the previously great version. Ive never seen a newer version so poorly designed and thought-out.

The new updated app was recently up dated and a lot of issues were fixed, but not enough. Will be expecting another update in the near future. The app is hard to see in the sunlight which is not good since most driving ranges are not inside. It will take time to learn the new app. Its very confusing. Enough of the cons. The pros are this product will help your golf game. I used this product for a year and loved it. Cant say enough of how it helped my game. If you practice a lot then you need this product. It will give you instant feed back as you practice and this is huge.

Since this update I cant listen any video, totally mute...please fix it

Used to work great. The new UI keeps crashing and doesnt even launch so I can see any of the things others are complaining about in the reviews! Argh!!! This USED to work. Now nothing but waiting to "transfer offline data" and then it crashes! I am SO disappointed !!!!

Very bad update, I had no problems using the Zepp for my first 1459 swings . Tried it with new update kicked me out to calibrate every few swings harder to navigate. I went from five star to one star with this update!

The recent update made my Zepp golf sensor completely unresponsive and useless. After contacting customer support I received an email with troubleshooting instructions. Those DID NOT WORK. Thanks for nothing Zepp.

Too bad. Was working fine before the update. Ive tried several times in vain to update the firmware since the latest release now its just a paper weight. Wish I could return it. :(

Same as Pcrampton, open the app, "transfer offline data" appears, and then it crashes. But its still open in the background. Cant get past that screen. 2.x versions worked fine for me. I thought this was the holy grail when I got it as a gift. After using it for a few months not sure. Never could get the leg/hip sensor to work. And it cant distinguish between real and practice swings. And it opens multiple calibration sessions automatically, which is really annoying. And it doesnt give you enough time to grab your club when calibrating, always have to do it twice. Theres definitely some good stuff here, just have to refine it and also provide more educational material to help users to use this to better their swing. Another thing is the sensor never came with a manual, so youre on your own to figure out the app, which can be frustrating.

Fantastic lil sensor and app. It helped prove what I was thinking all along. Plus I love data points. :)
